membership principles EClub Membership Principles EClub members come together to openly discuss their challenges and help each other become more successful. This requires a safe and confidential environment.
1. Confidentiality EClub members agree that information divulged during EClub meetings will be treated as confidential. Although we do not engage in discussions regarding, or ask members to share, highly confidential information (such as trade secrets, proprietary information, or information subject to a non-disclosure agreement), we do discuss business challenges and other issues that may be very sensitive in nature. Members must use their own judgment and discretion in determining what information they choose to disclose. However, EClub members should feel comfortable in discussing their most challenging issues because of the mutual understanding that all EClub members will honor the confidentiality of the information discussed in all EClub meetings, events, and activities. 2. Focus on Strategic Issues EClub members gain the most value from the collective experience and wisdom of their fellow members when members discuss the most difficult challenges and most exciting opportunities. Therefore the time EClub members spend together is too valuable to waste on promoting any individual's personal agenda or political opinions. 3. A Willingness to Help EClub members come together with a strong commitment to making each other more successful. This encourages each of us to constantly ask: How can I help other members solve their problems and achieve their goals? 4. No “Selling” We strongly encourage EClub members to give preference to the products and services offered by other EClub members. The EClub also provides the opportunity for members to promote their products and services to other members. However, EClub members understand and agree that it is not appropriate to solicit the business of any EClub member without their express permission. All members agree that all EClub member contact information will be kept confidential and never used for solicitation, email blasts, or any other form of promotion with out the written permission of the EClub board of directors. 5. No Obligation to Follow “Advice” EClub members understand that the EClub is not in the business of offering professional advice or recommendations. EClub members make their own decisions and are not required or under any obligation to follow any recommendations of any representative or member of the EClub. Therefore, neither the EClub nor any of its agents, employees or other members shall be liable to an EClub member for any advice, information or recommendations that such member may receive. |
